Default Any interest in an Apex Time Trial event?

Got the following from Apex this morning in an email, thought I'd post it up here as well:

When: On a Saturday or Sunday in May 2009
Who: All Intermediate and Advanced drivers would be welcome
    Price: $250 per driver

-Would include three 20-minute practice sessions in the morning and two timed runs in the afternoon
    -Transponder rental included
-Apex will have National Autosport Association (NASA) do official timing for the Time Attack
-Apex may group cars in different categories, such as by car type, etc.

We need your input to find how much interest there is in doing a Time Attack event with Apex at MSR.

    Please respond to our question:
Are you interested and would you sign up for a Time Attack?

Please answer the question by indicating your interest below by March 7, 2009.
FYI, the price is very reasonable when you consider that transponder rental is included in the price. Feel free to post your comments, and I'll forward a link to this thread to Apex.

I'd sign up, but my car won't be ready by then.

Well, I couldn't get it done, so I am glad Keith is gonna try. I mentioned it to him a while back, and I guess when I didn't get anything moving, he decided to take it on.

Wealth, power, and experience are apparently not enough to save us from social influences. Groupthink, as described by I.L.Janis, is the tendency for group members to reach a consensus opinion, even if that decision is downright stupid (Janis 1982).
