Major catostrophic clutch failure!
I was driving to Track Dog today and without warning my clutch went to the floor. Luckily I was literally pulling into his parking lot and coasted through the alley.
We pushed it in and looked for the obvious.
Fluid reservoir was full.
No obvious leaks at master or slave.
Wags was pressing the clutch pedal when suddenly he felt resistance and then it went back to the floor. A few minutes latter, he notices a large puddle under the slave.
Upon closer inspection, it appears the lower bolt to my slave cylinder was missing and the slave pushed it's cylinder out.I wonder who reinstalled the slave during my clutch install.
Well, it was an easy fix. I removed the slave, rebuilt it and reinstalled it and bled the system.

Inopperative clutch is kind of major but I diagnosed the problem and repaired it.
I'll start the paper work on my labor refund.I'll also include a check for the shop fee.
Clutch wasn't designed to cope with a 3,000 lb. Miata...

Contemplate while confused.
Look down at clutch slave.
Tell William his slave just puked.
