    Default KYB adjustment question

OK, so the AGXs showed up today. I openend everything up to inspect it and make sure nothing was missing, and now I've got a question concerning the damping adjustment.

All four of my shocks were shipped set like this:

So... is the shock in the picture set on "2" or "1"?

Thanks guys. That's what I thought, but I wanted to make sure, since the instructions don't actually have anything to say about it.

BTW, should I be able to turn the dial past "4"?

You can rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise to get to your desired setting. You can rotate from any setting in either direction to get to a 'new' setting.

It goes to three or one, your call. BTW, I installed my front ones facing opposite directions. That way I can turn the wheel to the left and get to the left from the front, and the right from the back. Just an FYI.

I installed mine with all 4 dials pointing to the rear of the car. Just some extra protection against something hitting them from the front.

I was curious about that one as well a while back so I asked the nice folks at KYB.
    Mick,
It will not hurt the units to go directly from #1 setting to #8. Thanks for
the nice comments on our products.

Dunno yet. On the General's advice, I ordered a replacement set of bumpstops form Mazdacomp yesterday. Once they show up, I'll put the AGXs on.
