Default I need glass/lexan for a hard top?!

Anyone know where I can get a lexan or even a glass window for the hardtop I just picked up?

You will probably pay the same for lexan/poly carbonite as a replacement window. The last piece of 1/4" I bought was $200 from Mc Master Carr. Not the cheapest place to get it from, but we had a lousy parts guy at the time. Home Depot or Lowes may have sheets of lexan.

You might see if Regal plastics or Alied plastics would sell you a sheet.

Home depot and Lowes do in fact sell Lexan. They sell various sizes, the largest being about the size of the typical bedroom door.

I have a nice write up in PDF form that I snagged from another forum. I tried to link to it, but their site is funny and it is blocking the link incoming. Want me to email it to you or something?

Any recommendations as to where I could host it?

If you find the Lexan, Keith has some info on how he did his in the Targa Miata build.

Any ideas on the price?? I'm about to replace my back plastic window, and Lexan would be worlds better than vinyl from a fabric shop.

Cool, thanks for the link. Doesn't look too hard after seeing his page.
