    Default Miata Project

    Hello DFW Miata,

Around 4 years ago, I bought my first Miata, actually as a car for my daughter. Thru many events and situations, the car passed to my son, and recently back to me.

In the mean time, it did not live an easy life, driven by kids that can easily break an Anvil. Nothing that happened, was really their fault, IE: failed old radiator hose and overheating, and a couple of hit and run side-swipe collisions to add that roll'n'pleated look.

What I got back was basically a solid car underneath all the lack of care and feeding.

So, was born the "Miata Project".

I've taken care of most of the faults, cleaned it up, got things working again, lubed the un-lubed, and put a coat of Maguires on it.

Here are a few pictures of the project progress.

Most all of the pictures have comments under them that do not show on a slideshow.

Enjoy, and thanks for the informative reading on here!

Welcome, I really like the smurf blue.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.
