I find it common to be at an autocross event or discussing autocross with someone outside of an event where I am asked, “Where do I get more information” or “When is the next event?” The answer has never been easy because I do not want to limit them to information on a single club or try to explain relatively complicated web site addresses for each club. So, I came up with www.dfwautocross.com.

www.dfwautocross.com is a simple site designed to provide an events calendar for all local autocross clubs, links to each club’s web site, and links to a few other helpful web sites. It is not intended to market any single club – just provide an event calendar and club links for all autocrosses in the DFW Metroplex.

The site is extremely simple right now and I would like to keep it simple. Perhaps we will work on colors, graphics, and fonts in the future, but it currently gets the job done.

So, if someone asks you about autocrossing or if an existing autocrosser is not familiar with all of the clubs hosting events in DFW, then please refer them to www.dfwautocross.com as a gateway to all of the clubs and events in DFW.

This is great. It will be an awesome resource for everyone in the area. I know I would get lost in tabs on my firefox browser trying to keep track of what events were going where.

Sweet! I was just talking to one of my vendord yesterday and he wanted to bring his resto-rod '65 Corvette out to some events. I told him to check this forum, but I'll point him to this link instead.

Quick question - any chance of adding a "track days/time trials" tab so that we can add stuff like PCA or Texas Time Trials and Apex/NASA/ECR/Driver's Edge events? I think there is a lot of interest in seeing a one-stop local motorsports calendar that includes more than just autocross info.

I'd be happy to help with compiling schedule info for this section, but I don't know anything about coding for websites.
