    Default Titus's Se7en , Chapter 2

After 841 miles on the road over the last 24 hours, my dream of a Se7en took a huge leap forward. (For those that that don't recall my Se7en dreams, you can read more about it here )

While I was unable to dig up enough cash for a Westfield or Deman kit, I found a 1/2 built scratch built project that included a 28k mile '94 Miata drivetrain already mounted in it. It rolled into my garage this afternoon. Over the next few years, I will slowly build it up in to the Se7en of my dreams.

The seller was on the south side of Houston. We actually made the deal a few months ago and I had made a deposit at the time. The seller's neighbor was going to deliver it for a small fee, but we kept running in to problems actually making the delivery happen. I was talking about it yesterday to a friend in Gilmer, TX (near Tyler) and he said he had a truck and car trailer and lets just go get it. I drove the 100 miles to his house last night, left the Miata there, and we left his place at 3 this morning for Houston. We had the car packed on the trailer by 9, delivered it to my garage around 2, and then drove back in his truck to his house. After a short dinner there, I drove back home in the Miata. I think I need to sleep now.

Congratulations. The Lotus 7 is or has been a dream of a lot of car enthusiast. You are making me jealous.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.
