Thread: 1991 BRG, 5sp, 138K miles - Sell with or w/o HT

    Default 1991 BRG, 5sp, 138K miles - Sell with or w/o HT

BRG I took in trade. Car runs great, timing belt and water pump done. AC works. Windows go up and down. Car has been repainted and looks OK but a sunburn area on the rear trunklid. R trunk spoiler.

All original panels and VIN stickers. Driver seat is split.

Major flaw is a dent in the driver rear quarter that can be pushed out but not perfectly.

Very good soft-top with glass rear window.

Sell for $1,550 WITHOUT the hard top, $2,300 WITH.

Trey! Buy this car, take the best bits off and put it on your green machine. Then give this car to your sister as a track toy!

    Win-win deal!

I'm playing in "T" either way next year. But this car's price is right up my team "no buck" alley

Are those pinstripes painted on or just vinyl?

Really good deal, any interior shots? Is this a car that could reliably do a cross country road trip? I don't really need a 3rd car but this is tempting.

I will have some on Sunday. The car was locked and I was in a hurry, Interior is good except the seats. Driver seat has a split along one of the horiz. pleats on the bottom and the pass side is worn but no holes/splits. No cracks or other major wear in the interior. Radio is stock and scratchy sounding.

I would think so but who knows for sure. It was driven up from Austin. I have driven it about 25 miles and it appears to run/shift/stop fine.

The '91 BRG SE will have a wood shift knob and brake handle, but not wheel. It should also have a viscous LSD if it has a manual transmission.

Its a real BRG with all that stuff but is a VLSD really still working at 138k miles?

Depends on how the car sells. Buyer gets first choice.

Went over and test drove the car today. Nothing stood out as being bad about it honestly.

It does have newish struts and looks like it was pretty well maintained.

I'm still on the fence if I want to have two "play" cars :-/

Sorry I'm a new user here, I've owned almost every car except a Miata ( go figure ) and I am in the process of selling my 4runner. I would be very interested in getting this as soon as I get my money... PM me your number.

I would not be wanting the hard top as well, the soft top does not leak correct? I will talk with my buyer and my parents to see if I can get something done faster. I've been looking for a Miata in decent condition with low milaege. I'm in Houston so it will also take me a few hours to get there lol.
