Thread: Got my Catback Exhaust installed today!

Default Got my Catback Exhaust installed today!

Well the old butt dyno says it has a little more power and it seems to be more responsive. The FM catback exhaust has a little deeper sound than stock, but not obnoxious.

Thanks to johnwag for the part, and a BIG thanks to gabkwong for his help and garage for the install!

FYI - NAPA in Mesquite has the metal exhaust gaskets in stock if you ever need them.

The RB Header is next on the list of things to do (need to buy some gaskets).

Congrats. I have the RB header and FM exhaust too. You'll really notice a butt dyno difference when you get that header in.

The sound will be borderline obnoxious when you get the header on. At least it was for me cause I lost a cat in the header.

Nice work! The cat-back ought to be good for about 5 more ponies. I'm curious to see how the FM setup sounds compared to the Borla. Does it have a resonator in the mid-pipe or is straight through?

It has a resonator. The sound right now is pretty tame, Nails says it will be louder when I get the RB header installed.

It may not be as loud as mine was. Do the NAs have a catalytic converter in the header like the NCs have?
