A Mustang is a better sports car than a Miata
I was told by someone yesterday that a Mustang is a better sports car than a Miata because it is so fast. Sigh.

I have a 2007 GT, and I can assure you that it is a far WORSE car than my '91 miata. I HATE my mustang and will ditch it as soon as it's financially possible.

The Mustang isn't a sports car it's a "pony" car which is under the "muscle" car status.

My family has had a few Mustang GTs over ther years. My brother traded in a Camry CE for an 04 GT, and after a few weeks, he made this comment, "I wish I had the Camry back, cause it handled a lot better, and it didn't leak everywhere when I took it thru a car wash." Nothing like a 4-door family car to handle better than a "sports car".
Wealth, power, and experience are apparently not enough to save us from social influences. Groupthink, as described by I.L.Janis, is the tendency for group members to reach a consensus opinion, even if that decision is downright stupid (Janis 1982).
