There is a new Autocross Series in town...

Larry Everitt from Pro Tape Signs (the place where most of us buy our autocross numbers), is putting on a new autocross series in DFW... the Pro Tape Solo Series. the difference in this series and your "run-of-the-mill" events is that the top finishers win $$$. Entry is limited to 100 drivers, you'll get 6 runs, and the top prize - awarded in each of two groups - is $150.00.

Just another opportunity to run this year!

I was skeptical until the word 'PAX' finally showed up near the bottom of the flyer. It makes more sense now. It could be fun if you think you have half a chance of winning.

With the Mod cars in Group 1 and the change in STS's & STX's PAX for '05 (it got a bit tougher for them), I'd say a well-driven CS car has a lot more than half a chance.

I've already signed up.
