Park the cars in the driveway until they cool down, then move them into the garage if you're going to work on them.

Well my experiment already kind of failed. Had data from 7am this morning, every hour on the hour. Last time I saw the temp in the garage was 5:30pm, showing 123.8°. Walked past the thermometer at 6pm, it was dead. Time to go buy an outdoor unit I guess. haha

But...my stuff shipped today, from Austin, so I should be getting it tomorrow or Friday (too early for tracking to show up). So should have data for the rest of the week, then log again next week after installation.

Yes and no. I have garage temp logs for 7/27, 28, 29, 8/1, and will have 8/2 later tonight (obviously).

I was under the false assumption that it was shipping from Austin. TexasGarages is based in Austin, but tracking shows my stuff shipped from Elkhart, IN. It shows as out for delviery today, and UPS usually comes about 5pm here. Tonight is garage night, so I will be installing it after work.

I only plan to log garage temps until COB Friday since I'm not expecting anything significant with no means of actually cooling the space yet. I was going to start a new thread since I have a few days of hourly data..figured since it has nothing to do with portable AC units, it should probably get a new one. No?

EDIT: UPS came through 1.5 hours earlier than usual. I am impressed.
