    Default How does this head look?

    I took off my valve cover today to paint it and wanted to see your opinions about the condition of my head.





    Specs: '90 1.6L, 94XXX miles.

    The 'golden glow' of dino oil. Not unusual....there's a pic somewhere of my old '99 that looked just like that.

    I'm wondering if the previous owner ran dino oil. I changed to Mobil1 immediately after I got the car.

    My engine bay would like to kick your engine bay right in the crank pulley for being so clean.

    I sanded it lightly with 320 grit sandpaper, cleaned it with carb cleaner and then did 2 medium coats of Rustoleum Engine Enamel.
