What class will the Mazda 2 land in for SCCA Solo?

I'd guess DS.

Currently the Mazda2 would have to run SS and would not be eligible for national competition. Unless it has been in one of this year's fastracks.

I should end up in HS. The Fiesta which is based off of the same platform and has more power is already there (it snuck in with the older fiestas).

Thinking about a new car?

Yes. 1 series M Coupe to replace the 335i.
