I had a KLR before and wasn't too impressed with it in either the street or dirt category. Sorry i ment to exclude the KLR in my original post. Thanks for taking the time to post though I appreciate it :)

Grabbed one

Went yesterday and picked up the bike ref. in this thread http://www.maximum-suzuki.com/forums...?topic=79960.0

Had a good ride back. But ran into two problems.

1)Has the clutch dragging problem which I knew about before picking the bike up.

2)After a about 60 highway miles it's acting like the pilot jet is cloged which wouldn't suprise me because the bike sat up fora while. It would tool down the highway just fine but around town and right off idle would barely run. It also wouldn't idle and would generally require a lot of throttle to start or start with the choke. Gotta pull it down and cleaner out.

But other than that I liked riding it took it in a few ditches to get a feel for it and I love how damn light the bike was. Rode it from Houston to Fort Worth. About 30 miles of that was in the rain.
