Woohoo!! I get to get behind the wheel of a NASCAR Cup Car and go fast and turn left at TMS!

I did this a couple of years ago and they were nice enough to invite the media again... last time I did this we hit 160mph! NASCAR isn't exactly my bag but hitting those speeds is quite the rush (no pun intended!)

    This should be fun!!

I saw the feature on this last night on the news. I assume you were participating in the same media day that was reported on last night, so how was it?

It's a lot of fun. I hit 156mph (the cars are governed). Advice? Pay close attention on the visualization lap they take you on in the van. The racing lines don't match the white lines on the track, and it's easy to get confused. I think that visualization of the experience before you do it is key to your enjoyment. That and trust the instructors. They're good.
