    Default Dallas Karting Complex

    Just saw this: http://www.dallaskartingcomplex.com/

Looks like the track is under construction now. They will have rental karts, though, which North Texas Karters doesn't. Looks like it will be a great facility. It's a bit out in the middle of nowhere, at 5025 FM 1565 North. Caddo Mills, TX 75135. I'm looking forward to checking it out.

That's only about 20 miles from my place. I'll have to check it out once they open.

Looks like with a minimum of 8 people, we can have a "birthday party" for $50 a person and have 2 12 lap races. For an extra $10 per person, we get a 3rd race.

I decided to take a drive out there and check it out. For those that know where I live, it took me 20 minutes from my house. Google maps can't find it, but it is located less than 1 mile north of I-30 on FM 1565 in Caddo Mills.

    Here is the property layout:

As you can see, they had a bunch of construction equipment on site:

    Here are the Pit Runners:

Here is the track grading that has been done so far. I didn't venture out there as there was someone working the backhoe in the distance and didn't feel like getting run off. Also note the concrete light poll bases all over. It is clear that the track will be fully lit for night racing.

This is what the pro shop looks like from the street side of the property:

And this is the Pro Shop from the track side of the building:

I also snapped a shop looking through one of the windows:

All the prices are on the website, and some have been mentioned in this thread.

Track is supposed to be laid Monday. Will have to cure a few weeks, then it should be open soon. Taken March 16:
