    Default Does this qualfiy for TCB approval?

    I had two non-functioning speedometer cables. One had apparently got up against something hot and melted in the middle. The second one had the little plastic drive probe that plugs into the instrument cluster broken. I took the broken plastic connector assembly off of that one, replaced it with the one from the cable that was melted. One Frankenstein speedometer cable later, I got a working speedo again. :)

    That still uses gas. TCB would require you to research bus and postal routes, then arrange for people to transfer the magnet from vehicle-to-vehicle until it arrives on your street.

    We live in the same burb, so I could possibly walk and save on bus fare.
