    Default Wrecked Miata

    Hi Guys,

Sorry if this is in the wrong category. My wife rear ended someone yesterday in our 2003 Miata and it was totalled. There was a screw up with my insurance and collison wasn't covered. Therefore, I am kind of at a loss as of what to do. The rear half of the car is fine and I would like to part it out. Any suggestions on my next course of action? I am out of town in Corpus Christi right now, but will be back in McKinney on Monday. I can upload pics when I pick up the car from the body shop. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

It may not be totaled as in unfixable. Pictures will tell. It may be easier to sell it someone as a whole so they can fix it, or sell off parts. Make sure you list what rearend it has, how many miles on the motor, trans, etc.

Should I post it in the parts for sale area? Also, how do I find out what kind of rear end it has? I will try to post the few photos that I have on my phone shortly. Thank you.

Call Mazda USA with the VIN and they should be able to tell you how it was equipped from the factory.
