Just to warn you, we already overbooked by one in case someone does not show, and there usually is at least one person that does not show.

Yeah my brand new sunscreen didn't seem to work well. Thanks everyone that made this day a success, and thanks Ken for helping me learn to drive!

Today was fun! I managed to improve by more than 5 seconds from my first run, which is better than last time.

I learned that I was able to be a bit faster by letting enough air out of my tires. Slightly larger contact patch helped a lot. I could even tell the difference in pictures.

The wind helped, but it was still hot. I had to reapply my sunscreen twice, I have a feeling I would be bright red if I hadn't.

hope everyone else had as much fun as I did

This was not a hot day, it was a warm day. Try an august day.

^ I still stand by that quote! It will get hotter and the wind won't be blowing like that. When it does it will feel like a hair dryer. Just part of Texas summer time fun.

It was a great turnout today and a fun, challenging course!

Thanks to Nathan for riding with me and giving me tips. The 500 treadwear rating tires were fun.

Kinda sad that there are no more NTAXS events till fall. What a great spring season, though! Great course, Robert, and great event Jerrett!

Special thanks to the two corner workers who got switched over to "construction worker monitor" for their work assignment! Not a typical autox job, but it made things safer knowing that you were ready to flag any car that got too close for comfort.

Now if I just could've gotten that FTD run in my first 4!

Miata course? You were officially FTD in a 3,000 pound coupe.

Fun course, the big sweeper after the middle section was a blast. Paid off to stay on the gas all the way through it (at least for a Miata).

Very flowing course, good job Robert! Plus no one hit the timing light.

    Nathan,
This Lambo pulled up and wants his color matched wheels back.

Top Ten reasons I didn't pull off the win yesterday:

    10). Not using E85
    9). OZMDD showed up late
. Ran too early in afternoon group (before grip was optimal)
    7). Incorrect tire pressures
    6). Too much Sonny Bryan's
5). Gravitational pull from Ken O's head affected apex position on several turns
    4). Not enough fish
    3). Still have trunk badges
2). Haven't installed an e-Ram Electric Supercharger (up to 15 HP gain guaranteed!)
    1). Blue Stripes are menacing

In any case, yesterday was a blast.

I had a fun day too. Best was a 49.06, pretty good for me. The power steering mod helped a lot and the roll cage added some stiffness. I have it right where I need it now I think. Just need to improve the weak link, the loose nut behind the wheel.
