Default Equipe Rapide Challenge Cup #5 July 24th, Pennington Field

Equipe Rapide is excited to announce Challenge Cup #5 scheduled for July 24th at Pennington Field. We will be welcoming FSAE competitors from the "Texas Autocross Weekend" presented by the University of Texas at Arlington. This is one of my favorite annual events. I enjoy checking out the cool student built cars. Please join us on the 24th. Online registration is open. You can get more information on our website at www.autocross.com/er

Is there an issue with on-line registration?
Should we just register at the site?

I don't think we will have a course map for this event. There will be cones set on a 20x20 grid throughout the parking lot and you must figure out the best way to get to the finish. Kind of like Plinko.

Everybody run at the same time?

No, the FSAE cars will run first. The broken down shells will be used to mark the course.
    M3 is always the answer.

Time for the 2011 Dead FSAE Sweepstakes. What's your guess for the number of FSAE cars that will be pushed off the lot? Remember, the same car can get pushed off multiple times and each counts.

Driver error or broken car? If it is a driver error where they stall it and can't figure out how to get it started again then I would guess two. If it is a car that grenades or lets the smoke out of the wires then I'll guess 1 more for a total of three cars pushed off course.

8 I'm leaning on history. But we won't be there to count since we will be installing our 128 days late shocks this weekend.....

    Must be present to win.

I'm probably going to regret this, but I'll take the under at 2.

Pull and all nighter on those shocks. It won't be the same without you.

No sarcasm from the peanut gallery please.

Does going up in flames count as 2?
