    Default WTB TCB Miata Battery

Anyone have an extra agm miata battery laying around that they want to let go of cheap? Mine is dead and the thought of spending $120 w/ tax at O'reilies is making my butt pucker.......

They're up to $120??? I bought mine at O'Reilly for $80 a few years ago...

Not sure what the going rate is, but you might look into an Optima battery. They're Miata-friendly (some kind of gel cell) with a really good warranty to boot.

Thanks POS... Between the new house, and the new wife, my wallet needs all the TCB hints it can get.
Will be $99 shipped from them.... How reliable are they as far as quality? If the oreilies battery fails, ican take it tothem an bitch, but if a mail order battery fails i'm kinda SOL.....

I just realised why my miata batter is dead. I last drove the car May 5th.... It has been parked in the parents garage through me remodeling the new house and moving......

Have you put it on a low amp charger for an extended period (24 hours+)? That may bring it back.

I put the Stabb Battery in my wife's Miata and it has done a fine job.

+1. My battery ran down a while back. Hooked up a cheap HF trickle charger and it brought it back from the dead.

    ITS ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The HF trickle charger did the job in 24 hours. $4.99 beats $120+ ...... hopefully the battery lasts.

Now I just need to go to TDR next week to get my top looked at......
