Bring it over with the diesel engine and you've got a segment leader. Otherwise, the specs sound pretty similar to my six year old CR-V.

+1 on the diesel. Why are so few car companies importing a readily available technology? Wouldn't it be a huge aid to their CAFE numbers?

guys - direct injection (SkyActiv, FSI/TSI, whatever you wanna call it) is crap. It's already a known issue w/ build-up on intake valves (VW/Audi FSI/TSI engines ... the same for the Mazdaspeed3 - which uses the same Hitachi fuel pump & injector design) - there's no way around it unless you want to run atmospheric dump. How do they resolve this? Easy - the dealer takes off the intake manifold & scrubs the back of the valves. lol That's why I got rid of my A3.
