    Default Comp Clutch w/ Flywheel

It looks like Comp Clutch isn't gonna give me a refund on my clutch that I sent back. They are talking to the owner, but it's not looking good. I already upgraded to a twin disk, so I don't need them, but I was expecting the refund to cover some of the cost of my new clutch.

Comp Clutch 1.8l Flywheel (Steel LW)
    2-746-STU
    Retail - $369

Comp Clutch 1.8l Stg 4 Sprung (holds 350-400tq)
    10045-1620
    Retail - $395

Total Retail - $764 (not including shipping)

I had these in my car for <800 miles, and it was slipping, so I sent them in to Comp Clutch. They said the pressure plate was weak, so they are giving me a new TESTED pressure plate.

    New price: $250.

I'll post up pics when I get the parts back from Comp.

Wealth, power, and experience are apparently not enough to save us from social influences. Groupthink, as described by I.L.Janis, is the tendency for group members to reach a consensus opinion, even if that decision is downright stupid (Janis 1982).
