Equipe Rapide Double Header Weekend Nov 5-6, 2011

In honor of the World Series coming to Texas Equipe Rapide is having a "Double Header" weekend. We will be hosting an autocross on Saturday November 5th and Sunday November 6th in Mineral Wells at the airport. The two events are separate so you can sign up for one or both. Check the current points standing on our website at www.autocross.com/er There are several classes that will be decided by who shows up both days. Several people are on the bubble as far as having enough entries to qualify for a year end trophy or getting an extra 50 points added to Rapide PAX total. I'm toying with the idea of having a Barrel Race on Saturday after the regular event is finished. I hope to see you there.

I might have to miss 11/5, but I certainly plan to be at 11/6. Got get it in while I can before the action stops until March.

Is NTAXS not planning a winter AX or two? If not no biggie. Regrettably I won't be able to make these last two ER races, as I will be out of town. Sucks because the end of the season has always been my favorite time.

One process is to make tire smoke as you do a donut around the barrel. The other process it to swing wide and maintain grip and momentum. I'll be doing the former. Someone needs to borrow a few barrels off a highway project prior to the event. Plastic 55 gallon drums will work too.
