Thread: My newest project

    Default My newest project

Well here are a couple pics of my latest projects. A good friend helped me do these up in the shop and then we took the car out on the track to see if there was any difference. I was kind of skeptical of how much of an improvement there would be in how the car acted on the track. Needless to say I was very surprised by the difference they made. What we did for the front end was make a lower control arm brace that also tied in the subframe pickup points, then in the rear we did a lower control arm brace using the factory mounting points. Anyhow I'am going to stress the car for a couple days to see how everything holds up to the abuse and make any changes at that point if need be to improve the design. These will eventually be available along with the license brackets that I have already posted about. Let me know if you guys like them.

The front brace still leaves plenty of ground clearance so you don't have to worry about snagging anything with the brace.

I wanted to do a complete rear subframe brace but my car only has the rear control arm points to attach to on the very back. As I get more time I will try to come up with something that can work on the older cars like mine that don't have the other pickup points like the later ones.
