24-Hours of Lemons at ECR--Team Miagra results!
This past weekend, Team Miagra ran its first true 24-hour race at ECR. Green flag at 3 pm Saturday, checkered flag at 3 pm Sunday! Proud to report that we finished in 2nd place overall (out of 53 teams) with ZERO mechanical issues except for a somewhat unexpected front pad change early Sunday morning. It was fun, it was exciting, it was exhausting. most of all, though, it was worth it!!
Only real downside is that we missed the Propwash Spectacular for the first time...

Congrats! Did you start the race with a brand new DTC60? I know ECR is brutal on brakes. Is there any other pad that would last better or was every team changing pads?
We "might" have survived all 24 hours on one set of pads, but they would have been gone by the end. I was told we did the pad swap in approx. 8 minutes (which, coincidentally, is about the same amount of sleep I got during the entire race...)
