2012 DFW Street Touring Test and Tune Day July 14th

Hey for anyone who is interested I am putting together a test and tune for all of the local ST category cars. We will have a dial in course, and a skidpad setup, and some addition space for anything else. The event will be pretty small, and there will be no corner working (pick up what you hit). The goal of the event is to bring everyone together, put all of the cars on the test course to see where we are all at, and work together so we all get faster. If it is successful I would like to make it an annual event. If you are interested in attending contact me.

Nigel: Exactly.

Martin: Does that mean it's easier on tires? Is it any easier?

Nigel: Well, it's one easier, isn't it? It's not a RACE. You see, most blokes, you know, complain about racing at MW. You're only testing here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're simply testing. What can wear? What?

Martin: I don't know.

Nigel: Nothing. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push to win you know what we do?

Martin: Host a test 'n tune.

Nigel: A "No tire wear" Test 'n tune. Exactly.

Martin: So you're just pretending that the tires won't actually wear.

[Pause.]

Nigel: This is a Test 'n tune.
