Default SCCA Autocross #6, Dallas Raceway, 8/12/12

The SCCA is holding their sixth autocross of the season as a new venue -- Dallas Raceway in Crandall, TX (southeast of Dallas). The lot of about the same size as the TMS Bus Lot, but it is all smooth concrete, so you should have a lot of grip and no issues with gravel.

Come out and join us at this exciting new site. Online registration is preferred, but you can also register at the site.

Since i wasnt able to go and watch the equipe #6 event, i think this would be a good chance for me be check out how these events work before my tms event 8/18.. If i do decide to go and not race, will there be an oportunity for one of the $25 deals like at the equipe event where i can get my sound checked and make a few fun runs?

Sure, but the cost is a little more. Show up at 8 AM with closed-toe shoes, pay $40, get your car inspected, and you can get 4-6 free sound checks.

Registered! Looking forward to the new site. Was I suppose to register only in one class or is it like ER where I can register in STR and PAX?

How about food and facilities? I'm all about funnel cakes and AC in the portapotties.

I may come out, do they still have 1 day SCCA memberships if you don't have an annual? I see the higher pricing for non-SCCA so I assume that covers the weekend membership?

With FI, I think you would be in SSM.

Technically it's SSP but with an illegal s/c kit it would be SSM or XP. Exige S is in SSP, Elise SC (from the factory) is SSP also. But I gave up on fun light weight sports cars so none of this applies to me
