Texas Region SCCA wants to congratulate ALL our members that attended & competed in the2012 40^th Anniversary Solo Nationals and the ProSolo Finale!!

Our region alone had 46 members that attended between the 2 national Solo events! In the Nationals event over 28% of them trophied in their respective class. 3 National Champions, 13 class trophy positions! In the ProSolo Finale, TXRegion had 19 members compete winning 4 Class trophies!

Special mention to our 2012 National Champions: David Whitener won the Street Touring Sport National Championship & Kim Whitener won the Street Touring Sport Ladies National Championship. In addition, David & Kim also had an outstanding performance in the ProSolo Finale. David took 5^th in STS & Kimtook 2nd overall in L3 and won the Ladies Challenge. And of course Mark Madarash who took the ESP National Championship. In addition, Mark took 3^rd place in the ProSolo Finale. Mark was 1 of only 5 Solo drivers to win the Solo Triad Award this year. To earn the award, a driver must win a TireRack Solo Tour event, a States Championship, and a National Championship in the same class. This is Mark’s 6^th consecutive ESP National title and his 2^ndSolo Triad Award!
