Less laid back. Cones are cones, but the rules are more rigidly enforced. Get with someone who's done SCCA before and pay attention at the drivers meeting.

You will have fun at SCCA and probably won't notice any difference from ER except they tell you ahead of time what heat you will run in.

Not much difference between the two. The only difference is a run, rest, work format. Weather should be good. Got heat stress at the last one and the 1.5 hr drive back turned into a 3 hr drive back.

Ususally more runs at ER, especially if you do PAX

Quick question about SCCA points for the year...is it your best 6 results make up your final score?

    Check the Supps.

3.2 Series points: The total points from each competitor’s seven best events will count towards the series championship in each class.

Here's how the TX Region Supps read:

    3. Regional Series Championship

3.2 Series points: The total points from each competitor’s seven best events will count towards the series championship in each class.
3.2.5 Qualifying for Year-End Trophy: A minimum of five events and total points equal to at least 50% of the class winner’s points are required.

The main difference you're going to see is that you'll make all your runs with your class in the same run heat.o

More than likely we'll have 3 heats for the day. You'll run 1 heat, work another heat and have a heat off.

Shoot me an email if you have more questions! Gald to see ya coming!!

Not of which I am aware. The only broom I see at SCCA events is the one that Jennifer rode in on.

If you aren't on real racing slicks then I don't think there are any requirements for roll bars.
