    Default 2012 TX Region SCCA Awards Banquet

    Hey Folks!

    A few people have pointed out that not everyone gets the TX Region SCCA Solo emails and might not know about the Year End Awards Banquet.

    So, for those of you that haven't seen the announcements on Twitter, Facebook or the Region webpage, here's the link for the 2012 TX Region SCCA Awards Banquet. The Banquet is Saturday, Jan. 12th at the Haggar Clothing Corperate Office auditorium in Dallas. Menu & schedule information is on the MSR page.

    Hope everyone enjoyed the Awards Banquet last night. It was awesome to see so many Solo folks from the Region at the event!! We're curious what everyone thought of this years trophies. If you have a moment, leave a comment here & let us know or shoot me an email.

    Btw, an award we present every year in TX Region is the Soloist of The Year Trophy. Each year this special trophy is awarded to an individual who has displayed special & inexhaustable energies for the benefit of the Solo program and to the autocross comunity as a whole. This year's recipipent was an easy choice & long over due for all his hard work in helping ALL the area clubs... Jerrett Jan!
    Congratulations, Jerrett!! Very well deserved!!


    We've got a busy spring autocross schedule coming up. Get those cars ready & get those tires ordered!!

    It was a great event! The fine folks at the SCCA put together a fun evening!

    I was a fan of the Trophy it looks classy.

    I'm still surprised he has decided to retire from Autocross.

    Congrats Jan! Some of you may not know this fact about him but this is actually his second soloist award. The first one was for creepiest white male solo masturbation scene 2001 at the Adult film awards.
