    Default Cell phone windshield mounts?

I bought a cheapie one off fleabay and it lasted about 6 months.

Anyone have recommendation on a good car mount / windshield mount?

It's mostly for using GPS on my iPhone 4S.

I have a ram holder for a 4/4s somewhere in my garage if you want to put together something that works.
Maybe 4 wheels aren't so bad after all... wickett.org

If the price is right, I'll be willing to give it a try.

You're welcome to the phone holder... You'd need something to attach it to, though... You can try out all the pieces, but the only thing I've got I'm willing to part with is the holder itself.

Here you go - best mount I've ever bought. I have one in every car.

I have this one and I really like it. It plugs in to your cigarette outlet and is adjustable, you don't have to find a place to mount it.

I've been looking at that one. Did yours stick to the Miata dash or do you have it on the windshield?

Never mounted a GPS to a dashboard, always used the windshield. The odd thing about the Iottie is it has some sort of stickiness to the suction cup, but it doesn't leave anything behind on your windshield.

I need some kind of a mount too, and that one looks good... I plan to use my lap timer app instead of renting a transponder this year.

I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere...

+1 on RAM mounts. I tried the cheap ones, they didn't last.
So far the RAM has lasted over a year and is not loose and doesn't shake.
I found the best prices on Amazon, but use the RAM website to get the right part numbers.

Put it this way - if you intend to remove the Iottie on a regular basis, bring a set of pliers with you, because no matter how hard I pulled, I couldn't get it off the windshield. The other day in >100* heat, the one in my SE-R detached while I was driving. That's the first time in 5+ months that I've had to reattach it in any of my 3 cars.
