I'd look into using something like shopify to clean up your ecommerce side... unless you're looking to remove all that. I strongly recommend stepping back and asking what is the success criteria for the site. To drive traffic to the shop? To sell parts? To provide information? Those all are different goals and you'll build the site differently for each of them (with varying costs involved).
