If anybody gets any info on this deal let us know. I want to replace my PR1s (on SM #13) as in wheel to wheel they can be just like Ben Hur chariot wheels. I have not had any problem but others have. I think that they are great as open track wheels.

FYI, here's the latest pertinent post I've seen from SCCAforums.com:

Here is the deal as I understand it. The deal is specific to your class, so for Spec Miata, you need a 15x7 wheel that weighs at least 13#.

    Network
    Quickk
    Next

Not too much inventory in these models and limited colors available.

    Are your choices.

If you want the 17" deal you are looking at CMC or AI at 17x8 or 17x9 5 spoke.

Keep us up to date. If the deal includes Heliums, I might be in. A set of bronze Heliums would look on my TBM '99...

    From the SCCAforums today:

On the NASA web site this morning:

    KONIG WHEEL ANNOUNCEMENT
NASA and Konig regret to announce that the discount program that was announced earlier this month must end today. NASA’s program with Konig wheels was such an overwhelming success that Konig has run through the allotted inventory dedicated to this program. Members who have already ordered wheels through the program will get their wheels, but the offer unfortunately cannot be extended any longer. “The amazing response to this deal really shows the purchasing power of the NASA membership,” commented Chris Cobetto, NASA Mid Atlantic Director and author of the deal.
Apparently the deal is off now.

Hell, if they had a specific "allotment" of wheels to be sold under this deal, they should have said so... "We're offering 200sets at this price.. 1st come 1st served" or something to that effect...

Just wait... someone will put together a Class Action lawsuit against NASA, Konig, and the makers of the software that allowed the offer to be posted on the NASA site.

That very well may happen... although I would rather go at it alone and get my own money back versus $7.23 back in a class action settlement!

A bit over the top? Dramatic?

It's only a draft so far...

Call me an optimist, call me naive, call me what you will, but I believe that you will still honor your deal one more time. If not, then both Konig and NASA will marred with the stink of bad business.

I hope to see that the relationship between Konig and NASA continues... and continues to flourish. Perhaps by fulfilling what is proposed in this email, faith will be restored both in NASA and your company.

$40... on my credit card... so I can still dispute it. Let's call it failure to follow through on a deal.
