After a bit of juggling to stay off other Club's dates & National SCCA events, the 2014 Solo calendar is finalized. Details on the Solo School & events will follow.

From a text message I just a few moments ago, the news on Dallas Raceway is that the current management has until this Friday afternoon to vacate the premises. The new management is NOT interested in continuing motorsports at the facility and is planning on turning it into a large truck junkyard.

The previously published SCCA calendar will obviously be in a state of flux until new sites are confirmed. Please understand that in addition to sites, dates may change, too. We hope to have the new calendar released soon.

How do the courses at Pennington typically differ from those at say, TMS? Looks to be a bit smaller based on what I can tell from Google maps, unless you're able to use the lots on both sides of Stadium Drive -- not that it makes a difference to me either way, just curious.

^They are smaller, but the surface is concrete so it's grippier.

Theres a significant dip between the north and south lots. It would be impossible to utilize both sides for one course.

And the other lot gets used for beginner motorcycle classes at the some time, generally.

The south lot is really bumpy. You can't really see it but the concrete has some weird scalloping so it is very unpleasant to drive on.

None besides the SCCA ProSolo. ER and BMW will be running a fair number of events at MW. ER will also be holding a few mirrorcross events there - including one shortly before the ProSolo.
