    Call me old fashioned but what happened to nice traditional Biblical names?

    That also goes for white folks naming their kids Brianna, Kendall, etc...

    Not saying it isn't white. Actually saying it's common white folks names. Must be my Catholic upbringing but I prefer traditional names as opposed to these "new" (Read: Recently popular) names.

    Give me a Michael, Matthew, Elizabeth or Katherine any day over a Tyler, Aiden, Kayla or Taylor.

    My theory - call your kid whatever you want. Just don't get mad if I can't say it correctly, spell it correctly, or giggle when I try. This from the son of Avinell, nephew of Ivon and Reon, and grandson of Ila. Had great-great uncles named Flavey and Mont. All God fearing white folks from East Texas. OTOH - paternal grandfather was Tom Collins (if you don't get the joke, get out your bar guide)
