You will most likely end the day with hurt feelings by how badly you were out run (unless you are some kind of freak of nature), but almost everyone is slow when they start, so don’t worry too much about your times just have fun driving at your limit.
I've done about 5 events now and am having fun. I've had some good events and one really horrible one. When you compare your runs, look for novices in your own class to compare yourself.

The other thing that I would recommend is that you go to the novice walk-through and ask questions if you don't understand what the instructor is saying about the course. Everyone is so helpful. Good Luck!

I'm looking for ride for this event. Does anyone need a tire warmer?

It's a shame, since we added an optional slalom just for you.

For those of you not on Facebook my wife and I may have possibly inadvertently mocked JRJ512's wife when we stopped at Arbuckle Mountain Fried Pies in Davis, Oklahoma earlier this week....

(JRJ512's wife is one of the mean girls in registration)

I had a blast at my first AutoX event & I actually didn't embarrass myself.

Thank you to the other Miata guys I met there today. I can't wait to run again. I hope to see y'all at the next one.
