Looks very technical. Maybe I can stay in second gear for this one :)

Hopefully I'll be able to finally make it to my first ER event this year!

Being in the same class as Mike, Ryan and Mark...I'm going to have my a** handed to me! LOL

Just curious, what is the reason for the tire index class for those already in street tire classes? Is it just another index class for those who don't want to play in X?

It is a holdover from previous seasons, and is basically a sub-x index class. I ran there this season because the mini was so new and not setup. Wish I'd just done X for the competition. Of course, Wortham is running there now too...

I've never been to an ER event, so I'm curious to know how they compare to the others (format, seat time, etc.)?

SCCA with more runs. And the fourth run's the beer run. Chug a beer at each corner station.

Also, the faster you go, the less you pay for the event

Greg, the classing is the same as SCCA. We have more runs, and typically divide it into am/pm like NTAXS. This event will be AB/AB and at least 8 runs.

During the hottest months we will go to a 3-heat system with 6-8 runs when the attendance is over 80 to avoid having people working in the heat as long, but this event should not have that issue.

Also, ER has a separate Rapide Pax where your best run is indexed against all other drivers and the top 20 spots have a cash prize. This is included in your normal entry fee.

With the 80 degree temps, it should be a fantastic day for autox!!

I like to think of T class as Xpert for dummies.

This is a high school site so there is no beer chugging at any corner station. Sorry.

Gravel is hard. Glad it got better as we kept blowing the course between heats.

It was a fun time, though. Tricky course-- especially that last turn before the finish.

Yeah, being done by 3 is pretty neat.

I struggled with overdriving all morning...going from Lincoln concrete to a litter box is quite the transition!
