    Default Home inspectors

Does anyone here do home inspections, or know someone who does? Obviously looking for someone thorough vs quick. Thanks for the help.

I was impressed with the guy who inspected the house we're in now. Very thorough. I'll see if I can find his contact info for you.

I remember you saying that. Let me know if you find it.

There is only one guy to go to in Dallas. One. Every other inspector I've met is either lazy or a huckster.

Call Bud Rozell at Good Home Inspection.

THanks for the info, it looks like he doesnt come as far west as we are moving but I might call for a reference on this side of town.

Marc...I looked and couldn't find the guy we used. It's been almost 10 years now.

My realtor recommended this guy to me when I got my home last year. He seemed to do a good job and even gave me my current foundation readings so I could compare it if I had foundation problems later.

Make sure they are bonded and have professional liability insurance. Do not rely on the fact that they are certified TREC inspectors.

I used this guy a few years back, and he did a thorough job.

Two month ago we were in contract for a house - this guy's inspection revealed so much that we backed out immediately:
