Crazy boat racing?
Have any of you ever watched the World Jetsprinting Championships on Speed? It's like a cross between autocrossing and WRC, but with 1250 horsepower, 1400 pound, methanol-fueled jet boats.
It's absolutely insane, and I love it. I'm not usually a big boat racing fan, but watching these things is amazing. Think about driving a boat with a power-to-weight ratio twice as good as a Formula 1 car that can pull 3+Gs in turns and burns over 5 gallons of fuel during a single 55-second run. Where do I sign up?

It is cool stuff! Looks like they run in about 6" of water and man can they fly!!! :afro:
I've seen it several times. My first reaction still applies: Helmet, Life Vest, NO WAY.
