By "instructors," does Brad mean someone SCCA-specific, or someone that regularly instructs for local HPDE groups? If the latter, I could help out. 865 can vouch that I truly am a mean, nasty screamer.

Don't know about SCCA-specific, but OH dear lord, yes! DO NOT EARLY APEX A CORNER with hornetball in the instructor's seat, or it will be another TWO corners before you hear the end of it. But that said, a dramatic sideways drift, spin, and off at ricochet, or dropping two wheels off at the track-out rumble strip and getting catapulted across the track, will get you a response no more foreboding than "put both feet in". Go figure.

Brad's email address is on the SCCA Club Trials page. I'll vouch for your instructor credentials.

Ooops! Sorry. Dropped the ball on getting back to you.

That top was a Snugtop and I sold it a few months back to a fellow from Austin. He subsequently put it on his car, forgot to fasten the brackets and went for a drive. He destroyed it. True story . . . I can't make this stuff up!

On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

    Coming up this Sunday!

Can't find any time information. What time do they usually kick-off with a driver's meeting?

Yesterday at the TNiA, Brad Flack said instructors who are running the Club Trials will run in Group 1. All non-instructors who are running CT run in group 4. This is a good thing for instructors since Group 1 will have far fewer cars on track than group 4.

Everyone should have an email from Matt Lucas via motorsportreg.com that has the information packet PDF with the final schedule, track map (clockwise direction), and tech inspection sheet.

Hello PDX drivers, Club Trial competitors and Instructors! Brad asked me to send this welcome pdf to you, and I've included the tech form here as well in case you missed it on the registration page.
One quick note on the tech sheet - the helmet spec is incorrect on the form. It should read Snell M/SA 2005 or newer.

Surprised that 2005 is still OK. Aren't those getting a bit gamey by now?
