Default Lots of green miatas for sale.

im looking for a 2001 LS with around 50K miles on it. i want to spend around 12-13K. now that that is out of the way.

how came i keep finding REALLY good deals, that are exact matches of what i want, but they are GREEEEEEEEN???? ugggggg- i dont like green.

    a perfect example

thats a 2001LS with 60K and the ground effects kit (i like the ground effects) for 10,900. i could buy that right now, no more saving more of a downpayment, buy it now, and drive it to Zoom Zoom Live with pride.................except its green

What's wrong with green? Everyone knows the green ones are fastest.

Be careful how you defame the all powerful green Miata...

Why a 2001? (Keep in mind this question is coming from the owner of a 2002! )

You are aware of the VVT motor's love for the finer grades of petrol?

But I do agree with your concern about the Green Miatas!

Is that because they usually beat the yellow and black ones?

Good to see someone is calling about it! I just saw it in the pointy board and thought someone should pick it up since it's local and looks like a pretty good deal.

As far as it being a aftermarket turbo, I'd much rather buy a flyin miata turbo car than a custom kit or a greddy kit with a lot of mods. FM seems to have a pretty bullet proof bolt on system.

yeah, but i dont know how this guy treated it. with a stock miata, people buy them just to have a fun little convertible. when you drop $4K on a turbo kit, you apparently like to go real fast too.

im still going to try and get ahold of the guy.

I don't thinks it's a bad deal. I'd buy it if I wasn't so darn happy with my '97, and if it had "barn doors" The turbo was put in by the master of Turbo, so I'd not be afraid of it, not only that the turbo is only boosting to 10psi (limited by the piggy-back link), therefore the engine should enjoy many many more miles of trouble free service.

Besides just because you have all that power doesn't mean you abuse the car. It's just there for when you need it Besides, a new/used motor isn't that expensive, as long as you don't let Kags drive or build it.
