Thread: Enthuza's M2 XR Lightweight Exhaust

Default Enthuza's M2 XR Lightweight Exhaust

Any thoughts or opinions on this muffler?

    M2 XR Lightweight Exhaust
This exhaust weighs in at a mere 7.5 lbs (stock system is 24 lbs.) while delivering the same horsepower gains as the Speeder. This exhaust is fairly loud but retains that deep note. $220 (Stainless: $259)

It isn't for me, literally (wont fit my car). It seems very purpose built for those looking for max weight saving. It is also going to be more obnoxious with that little tiny can. This is fine for someone like Iain that has a purpose built car that spends most of its time being timed, but not for a daily driver. Are you thinking about it for yourself?

I'm not sure..Do you think it would be too loud?

Too load can be subjective. Have you heard Beans car with the Ansa and test pipe? I would expect that to be close to what you would have with this.

You might be better off talking one of the autocrossers on this board into buying it and then buy their Roadster Sport off of them.

Yes, this exhaust looks very loud. If anybody is thinking about this exhaust and and drives the car on a daily basis should probably rethink it.

Oh Yes.....I met him at Texas Stadiun Friday to pick up the Voodoo Knob and he did a nice little burn out for me as he left the parking lot.
I liked the sound of the BUR!

Note... the Bur had a high flow cat on in place of the test pipe when you saw him, as he has been trying to pass inspection.

Bean! is the test pipe louder than the high flow cat?

Well I guess Iain needs to get one so we can hear it. The site says they are made to order and it takes about 2 weeks. So you need to order soon Iain and loose those unwanted extra pounds.

You need more than the muffler to go fast...

I just got off the phone with the guy that builds the lightweight little muffler and even he says it's too loud. He gets alot of them back for just that reason.
