    So what's the benefit in using a stiffer motor mount? Better power transfer since there is less racking? Someone enlighten me! What is the down side?

    Because! It's more better!

    I think you may be on to something on the power transfer angle, the only drawback I'd imagine would be more motor vibration sent into the chassis. But I doubt that would be much of an issue.

    Here is what I did, drive around with a broken mount for a week or so. It feels like the car is about to fall apart. Then put in the comp mount, it feels like you put a pillow under the motor now!!! Plus at 14 cheaper each, that is quite a bit of savings. I dont notice the vibration at alll.
