Yep! My grandfather bought a new Classic Cream 1959 Corvette when they first hit the showroom floor. A few months later, it was stolen and never recovered. The Insurance company bought him another brand new Classic Cream 1959 Corvette.

The really cool part was that the first car was a removable hardtop car that didn't come with the softtop. The hardtop was sitting in the garage when the car was stolen. The car the insurance company bought him was a softtop. He ended up having both tops without paying for the option.
