Default SCCA Annual Tech Question - 2006

Any murmurs of if the SCCA is planning on doing annual tech this year in a manor that will also be acceptable to ER??

    Just curious.

That's normally when they do annual tech, but the year before last the SCCA Annual Tech was also good at all ER Events. But that was not the case last year, not a big deal just wondering if they have figured out a way to make it valid for both clubs again.

He did last year and the year before.

I'm just curious if the SCCA is going to do annual tech in a manner that would be acceptable to the folks at ER. Since last season ER did no honor SCCA annual tech.

Also the SCCA anual tech is accepted at all regions and good at SCCA national events.

Now this is acording to the rules, and not all folks are familiar with the anual tech and how it works.....we'll honor it in Houston though. Just be sure to bring your anual tech card.

We'll see if they know this one when I get to Arkansas.

I'm busy too and I really wanted to get as much of that stuff done as soon as possible. I didn't even get the notice, was it an email?

I'm a member and I know they have my address.

Nope didn't get anything either, I fell across it on the SCCA website, I guess it is a secret.

Oh now I remember getting an email weeks ago about an annual tech; it's gone now. I asked if it was for Solo and he said Club racing only. Maybe these are the same event.

Doesn't matter how early I found out about this, I still wouldn't have made it. I'm out of town until the S2K event.

Count me out - this is the same date as the rescheduled S2k event.

Besides, I think I'll make more local ER events than Texas Region events, just like last season.

If anyone is interested in doing an annual tech for SCCA and can't make the Saturday test/tune, John Garcia has said he'll work with you on special arrangements. You can contact him via email at [email protected]

Please don't ask him to do an annual tech at a regular event - it takes too much time. But if you contact John directly he'll work with you on a location and time that works for both of you.
