Thumbs up 15" old style Azenis on eBay

Just thought I'd post this as a heads up. Seller says they are 205/40R15 which seems unlikely so you should probably confirm before buying. Free shipping too, a personal favorite of mine.

I have no affiliation with this listing, blah, blah, blah.

    I'm betting $85.00 each.

I asked them I'll let you know if they reply.

Only one downside to that - tires age over time, even if they're never used. These tires are probably at least a year old by this point, and they won't perform like a freshly manufactured set.

There is a error in the auction, the size we have is 205/50/15 and the price is per tire

How do you know the store hasn't had them a year sparky?

Why not just check the DOT markings on the tire.
    DOT Markings

DOT marking serves as the tire's fingerprint and signifies compliance with U.S. Department of Transportation Tire Safety Standards. For example:

    DOT M5H3 459X 069

The first two characters, M5, designate the tire's manufacturer and plant code. The third and fourth characters denote the tire size. The fifth, sixth, seventh and eight (optional) characters identify the brand as well as other significant characteristics. The final three numbers (four beginning in 2000) denote the date the tire was produced, with the first two indicating the week and the last number indicating the year (069 indicates the tire was built in the 6th week of 1999).
