Thread: Nice weather today, anybody do anything fun?

Default Nice weather today, anybody do anything fun?

It was nice and cool this morning and to waste a day like this would be a tragedy.

Woke up at 9am to detail the wheels and tires, wash and waxed the car 'cause it needed a good bath...

Anyone do anything or have plans to do anything?

Went to the doctor this morning. She said she'd moved all her afternoon appointments to the morning so she could go hang out by her pool

I drove to and from the appointment with my top up due to the crud I was seeing her for.

OTOH - I'm all about hi temp records, and we should set one today if we hit the predicted 89

Put the tonneau cover on last night, and drove to work with the top down. It looks so good with tonneau covering it and rollbar sticking up out of it. Maybe it'll get washed when I get home.

At my age, nothing is really serious; maybe fatal, but not serious. Except allergies.

Working here, too.....sigh! And I didn't even drive the Miata today, so no excuse to leave early. I do, however, think I'll go take a walk after the meeting I'm about to attend :)

Drove in top down. Will drive home top down.

Note to self... in the future, when you spend an hour and a half giving your car the first bath of the season, don't immediately bolt on the set of wheels that's been collecting dust in the garage for 6 months...

Nothing fun...Just work. Top will be down when I leave at four.

I had the top down yesterday and this guy in a beat up 626 says "hey, you lost your top back there"

ME: Not sure what to say "OK"

HIM: I told someone with a miata that in the past and they actually turned around.

    ME: driving off "you're wierd!"

You should have replied "So did your wife... but you don't hear me complaining!"

Drove top down to and from school today. The guy at the drive through complimented me on the car and told me he wish he was where I was instead of stuck at work.

I'll keep the top down until the next sign of rain, then I'll start driving the OTM again.

    Quoted for truth.

Saw lot of fine 'vert and cabriolet cars, but the only ones with the tops down seemed to be NB Miatae and 350Z convertables. Saw a couple convertable A4's and SLK with their tops still up, it was a travesty. There was an NA with a hard top that made me think "what a poor way to enjoy a great day..."
