Nah - we ended the event when it got dangerous, or shortly after

What an ass-beating today was. Note to self - must buy waterproof socks and gloves. Nothing says suck like having to wring out your socks, and gloves, and jacket, and pants, etc., etc..

Hopefully we appeased the weather gods enough by standing out in that crap that it will be nice, sunny, and 75 degrees in Arkansas in a couple of weeks.

I looked at a rain suit at work yesterday, and I decided that $30 was too much. I'm also very stupid. Don't have a clue about the results, my best run was a 41.111. Stopped at Walmart on the way home and picked up some sweatpants so I could drive home in dry cloths. The lightning was getting kinda scary, but I had a pretty uneventful drive home. Hope everybody else made it safe.

I put my Bike Nashbar Gore-Tex rain suit on before I left home. You see, I did learn something at the test and tune. I stayed pretty dry all day long. I think I finished 3rd in G stock, fastest car on street tires in the class. Best was 39.9xx.

My trip home was uneventful also and without rain from TMS to Gainesville. It is still raining here now.

I'd like to know this as well. I really hope they don't throw out the results because 40 people were missing one run.

Good time though! I wish I could drive that well in the dry! I also learned that as bad as V710's are in the rain, (they actually rock), that RE-92's are sooooo much worse.

Mr Adams is working on the results today. Should have something out soon. I'll post back when it's complete.

I'll second that. Things could have been a lot worse, given the weather. Hats off to Mr. Lucas & co.!

Add one more to the thank you list. If I paid for the year, will my name show up on the dlbracing entry list?
